Product description

The H06-18 multicolor epoxy oxide-inhibiting primer is a single-component product that dries by air. This primer exhibits strong adhesion to substrates and boasts excellent ability to prevent oxide formation. The main components of this product are epoxy resins and special anti-corrosive pigments.

Use

It is suitable as an anti-corrosion primer for steel surfaces in vehicles, ships, machinery, bridges, chemical equipment, elevators, and more. It can also be used in combination with various topcoats, including alkyd-based, amino, polyurethane, and nitro paints.

Operating temperature

Under dry conditions, the maximum operating temperature is 120°C.

Surface Treatment Requirements

Construction precautions

1. Before use, stir the paint thoroughly and adjust its viscosity to a level suitable for application using a thinner.

2. During construction, contact with substances such as water, oil, acids, and alkalis is strictly prohibited.

3. The construction site must have good ventilation, and the use of open flames is strictly prohibited.

4. To prevent the surface from flaking, you can cover the remaining paint surface with a small amount of turpentine or solvent oil No. 200.

5. If a thicker paint film is required, apply it in several layers, each layer being 20 μm thick—which corresponds to a wet film thickness of 30 μm. Wait until the previous layer has completely dried before applying the next layer.
